About Laura

Laura Billing
I'm a qualified physiotherapist with a passion for helping people move better, feel stronger, and live without pain. With over 20 years of NHS experience and APPI certification, I bring a unique clinical perspective to every Pilates class I teach.
After graduating from the University of London in 2001, I spent two decades working in the NHS alongside specialist orthopaedic teams at Birmingham's leading hospitals. This experience gave me deep insight into how the body moves, heals, and sometimes struggles.
Now, through Flow Physio Pilates, I combine my clinical expertise with the principles of Pilates to help people build strength, improve posture, and reduce pain — whether recovering from injury or simply wanting to feel better in their bodies.

My Approach
What sets physiotherapist-led Pilates apart is the clinical understanding behind every exercise. I don't just teach movements — I understand why certain patterns cause pain, how injuries heal, and what your body needs to get stronger safely.
In my classes, I keep groups small (maximum 12 people) so I can provide individual attention and real-time modifications. Whether you're recovering from surgery, managing a chronic condition, or simply want to build core strength, I adapt exercises to suit your body's needs.
My goal is simple: to help you move better, feel stronger, and enjoy a more active life — at any age and any fitness level.
